Durham MKII Mic Booster Preamp by Cathedral Pipes
 
An active microphone booster preamp that can provide any dynamic (e.g. Shure SM7B, SM57 / SM58) or passive ribbon microphone with up to approx. 25dB of super clean gain.
 
Note on the Gain: This value varies for all boosters based on the 48V phantom power. Depending on the manufacturer and how good the 48V is provided, your gain can vary anywhere from 20 to 28 db.

Note: Your ribbon mic is safe - phantom power is blocked and never reaches your microphone.
